Many people feel lost or disconnected from themselves and others, stuck in their head, questioning their worth or their direction in life, wondering if this is all there is. Even after cognitive therapy, something may still feel unresolved on a deeper level.
If any of this sounds familiar, you are not alone.
These sessions may resonate if you are dealing with burnout, chronic pain, stress, anxiety, addiction, relationship difficulties, or simply a feeling that something is missing. This may or may not be the right path for you, and that is completely okay.
I offer body-based therapy, sometimes combined with separate bodywork sessions, as well as integration after psychedelic experiences. These are options, and you are always free to choose what feels right for you.
During our sessions, you are welcome exactly as you are. I meet you with an abiding presence, compassionate and without judgment. In that space, everything is allowed to be just as it is.
Compassionate Inquiry is not about fixing or solving, because you are not broken. All answers are already within you. We explore the deeper layers within you, emotions, beliefs, body sensations, and unconscious patterns. From this space, insight can emerge naturally through the connection between mind and body.
Trauma does not live only in the mind, but also in the body. That is why real change happens not only through talking, but through feeling, slowing down, and being present.
Over time, and at your own pace, old patterns may become more visible. From that awareness, you may find that you can consciously choose how to respond, rather than react automatically.
This work is not for everyone, and that is perfectly fine. Only you know what is right for you.
When you feel ready, you are very welcome to explore further.
About me
There was a time when I felt deeply lost and disconnected from both my life path and my true self. For years, I sought refuge in distractions and indulgences, trying to escape the discomfort I felt within. This prolonged disconnection from my authentic self ultimately led to burnout in 2016
Through bodywork and Compassionate Inquiry®, I began my inner journey. These approaches gave me the time and space to transform my traumatic experiences, resulting in a deeper understanding of my emotions, beliefs, behavioural patterns, and the different parts of myself.
I reconnected with myself, found inner peace and profound self-love.
A recent ADHD diagnosis added another layer of insight. It helped me see my past in a new light, with more kindness and understanding for how my beliefs, behaviours and reactions were meant to protect me from pain I couldn’t bear as a child.
From this lived experience, I now guide others as a Compassionate Inquiry® Practitioner, certified in Compassionate Inquiry®. This approach, developed by Dr. Gabor Maté and Dr. Sat Dharam Kaur, is rooted in gentleness, presence, and attention to what is unfolding deep within. It invites you to recognise and transform old patterns, beliefs, and inner protective strategies.
In my sessions, I invite you into a safe, non-judgmental space where everything is welcome. You don’t have to force anything. You may simply be — exactly as you are.
I warmly welcome you,
Vera
